What the one you had fitted when i was down there with you the other weekend? I seem to remember seeing a crack almost all the way around it!

Dude I know it's very much form over function bit it's free and it works, no badly angled pods that work loose over time and no hidden out of your line of sight it's perfectly where I want to look to glance at it without taking my eyes off the road.

Why doesn't anyone just do them like this:

Look much better than smoothed fiberglass/filler creations IMO

Because we don't own a ford?

And mine at first was in the vent, but the vent is only just big enough really so don't think you could make it look as good as that

Can see it here just about

I have the same A-pillar pod as posted above, really well made item and fits like a glove. Doesn't squeak or rattle and looks almost OEM. My gauge is a Stack item with the filter ripped out and replaced with some yellow quality street sweet wrapper for amber illumination, I shit you not!
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

Maybe a stupid question but how do you mount the gauges like that? Do you make a frame or something?

What 1s do people go for to have gauges in where the stereo would usually be? I got this 1 but not that impressed with it

I got a centre vent gauge pod made by some one on another site.
I painted it as best i could to match the standard plastic colour.

In my other car i used one of those ebay 3 gauge jobbies that fits in the radio slot, but i fibre glassed around it to make it look a bit more permanent, and also modified an old dash surround to hold 2 more gauges.
