After a seriously hectic week i finally sorted a car today, here she is:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390361844980?s...1423.l2649
Tiny amount of chassis rust and a little oil leak, but otherwise spot on. Managed to get 3 months tax, new aux belt and rear pads chucked in too.

So, wotcha think?

Hahaha, love all the people trying to be nice, cheers! Yeah they didn't age half as well as the 306 tbf, looks seriously outdated by comparison.

The price wasn't amazing, but was the best i've seen for the money. And mileage really doesn't matter to me, it runs nicely, that's all i'm bothered by.

It's going to be a daily driver so no mods, unfortunately. Well, apart from the obvious pump and turbo tweaks, of course lol. Will only be a mild tune though, need this one to stay working!

Tell me more about selling the wheels...?

not being funny but couldnt you have found a dturbo for that money. dont get me wrong mate but for what ya paid surley you could have got summat slightly better?it does look tidy but if it was my money i would have got something different. as a daily,? i think imo i would have chose summat different. everyone to their their own though mate and tbf its not that bad. swop the pump, slam it on banded steels and i will buy it off ya. lol. good look mate.

Lol cheers Kingy, it suits my purposes nicely.
I could have had a dturbo for £400, but it wasn't as in good condition and i need something that's going to last me. Plus no-one noticed it's a bosch with no cat as standard, so can run it on veg. Haven't checked the turbo yet, but it spools around 2600rpm, so i'm guessing a t2?

I would think that it will also likely be a D8A/B engine being a ZX, get it tweaked up!

These things are close enough to being 306s that i'm happy, for now anyway lol. Means i get to treat the HDi as a project car; i'll be pulling the engine out as soon as the cabby's dealt with. Win!

Looks clean matey, meant to text you to see if you got one sorted, but I've lost my phone and therefore your number!

Did the 205 go for stupid money, or just decide it was best to get something with MOT?

Heheh, was equally amazed no-one mentioned the dent tbf lol, don't care what it looks like, it just needs to go.
Curt, thought i'd text you about the 205, my bad, got a new number now? The 205 only went for £390, still kicking myself for not picking it up, but tbh I needed to take the sensible option. It would have been an amazing restoration project and probably made me a mint if i'd sold it on, but just too risky right now.

Sure thing Matt, since it's you say £300?

Also will a 306 interior fit? If so, half leathers is a must!!!!

Oh and I can think of some red fleck S16 half leathers, which were modified for a 5 door
