Theres not really much that i can say that hasnt already been said. I remember this project from my .net days, and i never tire of seeing it. I always rave about your work whenever i get talking to someone about tuning diesels, and i still chuckle whenever i watch the infamous FCS dyno video. I'll even go as far to say that this car inspired me to get an XUD myself, albeit that i have nowhere near the knowledge that you have to get my car even remotely near the epicness of yours. It is a truly iconic 306, and in my eyes, no matter how long it takes to finish, it needs finishing. As said, just stick it in the back of the shed for a few months, and come back to it with fresh eyes. You know you want to... Wink

Well I guess thats it then, Im gunna have to see about removing the later of used engine oil all over the passenger side of the car, and start re stripping the car for rebuild!

Wahooo!! Well done mate! My intelligent answer which never came was really to say that although I was interested in buying the engine I would have always rathered it stayed with you. As I said in a pm to you during negotiations, it is your baby and there is no one who knows it like you or could make it see its potential.
I dont want to make your head explode anymore but the final thing I will say is this, you have been at the forefront of derv 306 tuning and many including myself have learnt bucket loads from following your work and that day you announced you were having second thoughts came as a shock to the entire community.
Either way I'm glad the right decision has been made and I cant wait to get back reading your project thread! Well done chap!

It certainly wont be at FCS this year, and dont get to much hope up for anything major happening anytime to soon, got quite alot of other stuff going on at the moment, so wont do any harm to stay at the back for a while longer yet.
