I don't have 10k to spend on anything at the moment, let alone a car mate

Whilst I'd love to spend that on a car I never would, that's a deposit (or most of one) for a house!
However, seeing as this is hypothetical.. Volvo C30 D5 for the daily slog Mk1 MX5 turbo for the weekend All for under 10g's

505 estate and have it completely over hauled, pos even a drift spec it for some epic french rwd wagon chuckles, not sure on what engine id go for though. A diesel could be a laugh.
