This is the second style of decat I've had now, and both are causing the same issue, barely clearing the subframe and on idle smashing against it.
It is fitted properly, all the way up flat against the downpipe and tightened correctly etc.
You can see the lack of clearance here.. Normal driving and it is fine though!

Has anyone else had any issues with these? The only thing I can think of to help is to lift the whole system up closer to the car to try and pull it up a bit

Could there be two gause gasket rings on the bit between the turbo and decat causing the decat to be lower?
Are the engine mounts ok and not letting the engine drop?

As above. Only other option is the rest of the exhaust isn't properly secured. Got miles of clearance on the decat i've got, last one was the same and that was bodged to fook - completely the wrong shape/angle.

Looks to me like the rest of the exhaust is the problem. Do you still have your midbox, and is the mount attached? If not i guarantee your problem is exhaust alignment

Yes, and yes. Tried fiddling about with it but it didn't help much tbh. Bit frustrating!

I moved the middle hanger up a notch and that helped...
I also took a grinder to the sub frame

As said, shorter rubber mount, bend the hanger, anything to lift the exhaust up.
Shouldnt have to grind the subframe. Even my bodged scaffolding tube exhaust fits nicely
