Going to be lowering my car soon (d turbo), wondering is it worth me getting gti6 anti roll bars front and back?
Are they just a straight fit? Would I need to modify any thing to fit them?
What improvment would I expect? Less body roll?
Any thing else I should no?

just grab a gti rear beam...as you want gti brakes anyway...get one with the calipers and its win win...
front gti arb is a big improvement imo
bit of arseache to get off and on...basically undo the pas rack, and drop the subframe by an inch or so to get it out and new one in
PS direct replacement but you need the ARB with bushes or just replace with new and they bolt on your normal droplinks

Is it really that much work to take the roll bar off? Thought it was only a couple of bolts for the brackets and un do the anti roll bar links?
If I was to get a gti anti roll bar for back would it just go straight in my d turbo axle or are they different lenths?

Iv done this on my DT well worth it, a GTI rear ARB is a dead easy mod compared to changing the beam is litraly 5mins
front ARB again fairly easy IMO , dont HAVE to touch the PAS just drop the sub fram by an inch, release the drop link and clamps above the P bush's then wiggle it out the back of the sub frame, reverse for re fitting , simples

I managed to change mine without touching the PAS or the subframe just wiggled it out the side

Deffo Not easier than just changing the ARB's over.
But IIRC ph3 estate ARB's are GTI spec

The other day you said you weren't sure which is why I asked lol.
If thats true though, there are two silver bands on the bars from my W plate estate..... I thought it was only the much newer ones ('51+) that had them.

Ah ok, well that proves it then.... The ph3 estates do have GTi TB's.
Not sure about the ARB's though, I assume they're the same as well then?

An the arb is tiny even on the cars with 21mm bars.
It likely to be y plate on for the 21mm bars and the 22mm front arb.
Also 20mm bars are red and 21mm are black out the factory.
