hm thought better update this, after the recent tragic fail of biblical proportions that engine got chucked, and the next engine is pretty much scrap aswell, which is pretty shite. Photos anywho.
fubar block coming out,

car looking very sorry,

old block.

turbo had to come apart to check for damage, was ok though.

my dad chopping up a scrap crank so, gonna be doing some weight tests and stuff on a piece of material.

Thought was about time I made a visit to the scrap yard aswell, still have half a trailer full of old gearboxes and puch maxi parts....

And to my disappointment, the worn out donor block, must have done some insane miles, tons of piston slap, and bores glazed to f*ck, which I cant be arsed to do anything with, not worth reworking internals or wasting a gasket/oil.

and the workspace....

Have dropped a totally stock block back in her now so have to just watch boost until I can get hold of a good bottom end to play with again... I missed boost going down to see Darren Ruan and James in next few days unfortunatly its not going to be running anywhere near what I wanted it to be

Its actually alot better than it looks, its penetrated very well to the right thickness its just there is so many gaps that needed filling I just sprayed it everywhere in the end :p I have the other side of the turbo to do now..... turbo to exhaust.... and gear linkages are all in the way, leaving about 1.8inches of room to squeeze enough flow for 6k in there :p

		Hello....

Spent this evening making turbo flange plat up etc, the turbo sits so much lower then stock, and I want it to remain OEM fitting so I have to move the exhaust downpipe back up again... bit tight against the gearlinkage as said before but shouldn't cause any issues... if I do find any out comes the grinder... my face is f*cking sunburnt to shit now...

Its got a T28 on it at the moment, as you guessed correctly at FCS
VNT's are £££, control sucks and cruising is shit ... here is the biggest problem I have right now,
 ![[Image: IMAG0360.jpg]](http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss299/Ha11elujaz0rs/mobile%20uploads/IMAG0360.jpg)
so in two minds to just cut all the linkages and shorten them, have made up a plate as you saw above, but its a little narrow inside.... EMP/EGT guage post turbo to see how it affects the backpressure I think.... The T28 still had alot more to give with anyway.

The the top part of it right down around dave, on the linkages I mean...will work just the same and be out the way Ive had to do that a few times to fit blowers in!
