usually they design them so you can slide the centre cut out over the needle

No need to remove any needles or change any Bulbs to fit these kits.

TBH its probably easier removing the needles as they just pull off.

Tempted by a set but I think id miss my dash dimmer function.

you dont need to remove the needles. Its more hassle to do so. And yes they still dim from very dim to "f*ck me its like a tanning booth in here"
