Well have to bring beer mate, they don't have bitter there and their lager is 7 quid a pint...

I hope you've not actually paid £7 for a pint down here!

Where abouts in reading? Which is the stumbleable hotel?
12-09-2012, 07:16 PM
Oxford? Oh, you mean for the drive the next day? Probably not all the way out to Oxford. There's a really nice country road which is good fun to drive, and there's a roundabout half way between Reading and Oxford where I usually turn off and make my way back, and on the way back there's a really nice country pub to stop
12-09-2012, 07:19 PM
I meant reading haha I got confused. Where is the main evening drink shenanigans happening
12-09-2012, 07:22 PM
Liam I'll do you pints for a fiver hows that sound? With what you save over 7 it'll pay for your veg lol
12-09-2012, 07:22 PM
I think I win so far on distance... just
237 miles for me! Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.

They're TBC in Reading somewhere. I'll see what's going on that night, might be able to get VIP/guestlist to one of the bars there but seeing as there are going to be wayyy more guys than girls I'm not sure how that will go down. Failing that there are plenty of bars/pubs all along the same street so there are plenty of choices. Vodka Revs, Reflex, Yates, O'Neills, Wetherspoons x 2, Walkabout are the usuals, plus there's also Varsity (name might have changed on that one though) and Q Bar.

It's about 30 miles for me and I'll bet my fuel bill is still higher ha ha
