No offence taken. Just always curious to hear other peoples reasons!
You only need 1 fuse though. Your not getting any extra protection by having two and intact, might just cause you're self more hassle as a fuse is always a weak point (obviously, its their job!) and some times they do just go! Obviously just fuse it as close to the battery connection as possible as anything before the fuse is not protected.
