With all that done winter was on the way:thumbsdown

I know what I will rebuild my spared head that I have in the garage :yes :yes First thing was to strip it



As I had robbed some valves from this head before to fix a cock up some new supersprints were ordered.

Lapped in the old skool way and a gap was noted

So off to Pug1off it went for a skim and seat recut. the result :thumbsup




That all done attention was set to tarting :rolleyes :rolleyes :love :love








I then got carried away in typical Hovis fashion :lol


This was then made worse when I saw a cheap bottom end up for grabs, Cheap for a reason:thumbsdown

The state of this should of given my warning signs:lol

I then found worse damage so by then as I ordered new pistons :whistle I had to source another block and crank:thumbsdown





Weighed that all in £50 quid :lol  then spent more money:no



Block number two much better


Cleaned derusted and painted
