Which clutch for 97 DTurbo
#1
Need a new clutch for my 97 1.9 DTurbo - any recommendations?

I've read that stock Valeo would be a good bet- Amazon and Valeo's website say the model is 801416.  Is that a good price?  The motor factors give 3000855401 which they say is Valeo, but it's a Sachs part number - are they sharing parts or something?

There's also this Valeo classic range, for cars 10 years old or more - anyone have any experience with those?  Sounds like its a bit cheaper for less durability, the idea being your car won't last that much longer anyway  Rofl

Finally are there any parts that I'll need that aren't in the kit?  Should the clutch cable be changed while it's out?

Thanks!
