Any gas heating engineers?

Isn't it normally only the CH pressure that the lay-man can check though?
On most boilers I've had it's the only pressure gauge you can see.

I don't know if there's any other gauge inside the boiler, don't you have to be gas registered to even remove the cover from the boiler?
