So I bought a xsara picasso 1.6 hdi for the wife it had a blown turbo got it mega cheap, I've sorted all the relevant stuff that goes with changing the turbo on this engine and now finished and on the road.
The issue I'm having is starting from cold it takes abit longer than what's normal and when it does fire throws a bit of white smoke out, bit of revs it clears but has a lumpy idle, once your moving it doesn't effect the way it drives pulls nice etc and once warm it starts up straight away with out issue.
I'm thinking injectors?
Am I right in believing these don't use the glow plugs unless it's mega cold?
Anything else it could be?
