You dont want solid engine mounts. Not on a daily. Even on a daily/track car people normally just go solid lower and rubber tops. In diesel the vibrations are great but in a petrol they seem to be less but it will still be an annoyance in my opinion.
As poodle said dont just go replacing things willy nilly. See what is worn or what parts are a worthwhile upgrade. For a 306 id say the lower mount is crucial. Suspension wise not sure there is anything that stands out. Doubt the ball joints will be worthwhile if there is no play in them. I would be concentrating on your 'goodies' that we discussed the other day!
