I know I'm a little late to the party but those discs ARE the wrong way round. I had a set of TarOx G88 Xantia 288 discs and read the sheet.

I also arrive late too parties, apparently its fasionable? but i digress...

I fail to see how mounting them the opposite way has a positive effect on the braking? maybe smoother but nowhere near as much bite.

The way they are now means the groove is actively cutting into the pad thus creating much resistance (very wow)... the other way round would surely not produce that same effect or certainly not to the same extent?

I could be completely talking out of my butthole on this one but i cant get my head around how that would be better so if i am wrong please provide evidence in laymans terms so i can understand muchlove x
