Well, I've just visited my local Halfords branch to purchase the usual 127-piece toolkit (in the aluminium case), only to discover they no longer sell it!

It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my brother who has just moved out to his own place and this would have included all of the tools required as a "starter kit".
So, any ideas as to what I can now get, similar range of tools, max of £50 budget and preferably a similar quality? Halfords have replaced all their budget stuff with Phaze?!? and the Pro tools don't include some of the less car related items (although I always seem to find a use for a hammer...). My other idea would be to get a smaller range of tools and a kit bag to put them in instead?
