Nialls supercharged GTi6 - project tidy up

Well another good afternoon at it. I started by getting the oil pump and windage tray back on then ended up with a bit of a hold up. There seemed to be a fair bit of end float in the crank and could i find my feeler gauges? Could i f*ck! So a trot of to Halfrauds to get some more to measure the float. Thankfully there was a lot less than what it felt like. The Peugeot specification for end float is between 0.07 and 0.27mm and mine was 0.10 so nearer to the lower margin which I'm happy with.
After that, continued to get everything back on, new crankshaft seals in, new crank pulley on and then cleaned up the mating face of the head (forgot pictures at this point).
Got the head on and all torqued down and cleared some of the crap out of it. As you can see, the head still needs a lick of paint but i figured that i would have more room and easier to work with it bolted to the head as my man shed is getting far to congested with parts and tools lol.
All thats left now is to bolt on some more parts that need painting before hand (will be done Thursday), Get the head tidied up, cams in, timed up and its ready to go in so should be finished next Saturday!
Thankfully the hard part is done now so I'm happy
