Clutch feels stiff!

Just brought my 306 two days ago and the cutch feels extremely stiff! Could this be because the car has been parked up for a long time or is it something I should be worried about? and also can anyone recommend where I could get service parts at good prices from, car needs a full service and im on a student budget!
