Sorry to thread hijack, but I'm about to do similar and replace with a vibra technics mount just wondering if using a cut down buffer from my d turbo would work as a chock?
Oh and to get old mount out you'll need a chisel and hammer, you'll need to make a groove in the metal casing and then knock it round as if undoing a bolt/nut. I did this earlier to check mine as feared the worst, but luckily mines all good
