You'll find most driveshafts are refurbs anywho; buying BRAND NEW is expensive.

I know a lot of 'dealers' charge around £40 - £80 per shaft, but give you about 50% off (hence the varied costs) if you provide your old shaft.

But yeh, i ordered a shaft from the same dealer - couldn't fault them - looked brand spanking, but says it's a refurb. As good as new TBH

oh, and yeh, it's a hell of a lot easier than changing a boot, less fiddly, cleaner, easier, and probably cheaper.
