Having dipped my finger into various genre's of modified cars I understand exactly where the fella's coming from. Hell, the abuse I recieved for driving a matt grey/rusty 306 was comical, even now for the fact I fitted daft orange wheels to a 22 year old minicab![]()
Thats why I tend not to get into the "here's a barried up Corsa I spotted" type of threads. So what if it looks bobbins, if its making its owner happy and doing no harm its all good
Whilst I do agree that it was a good read and is true that we "should all get on" I do think there has to be a limit to the "if it makes the owner happy" idea. There is a guy over the back of my house with a golf that has the loudest exhaust I have ever heard and I get woken up by it every morning at about 6 without fail. Also doesn't help he can't get the thing over speed bumps because it is practically on the floor.
I agree that if someone wants pink wheels, fine but there has to be a limit to some things!
