So picked up my seam welded subframe from dan this weekend. Top work as always.

It definately is the best part of working in your car. Just bolting stuff on can Only get you so much satisfaction. Building something from scratch and then it all working fine, that's sense if acheivement there.

That said, I've still gotta finish it lmao might not fit :p

You sure that the engine won't touch that as rocks/moves slightly coming on and off the power? Might be plenty of clearance there and it's just the photo that makes it look tight, but worth keeping in mind as engines do move a surprising amount on standard mounts.

I'm pretty confident it will be fine Smile

I have welded in 5mm steel on either side of the engine mount so there it very little movement at the top of the engine there. There is about 10mm between the engine and the brace. I think the angle of the photo isn't the best.
