S16Turbo,SOLD!!!!!
Really love this. Wish the Leon Cupra splitters hadn't gone up in price recently, they used to be really cheap... Sad

£50! ~ €60

They used to be about £20!

I'm not spending that much on one, not worth it for something which could get ripped off by an aggressive speedbump...

Well it took some time .... but the CF bonnet is in, it got slightly damaged during transport on the edges.
I need to contact TNT and get some of my money back, then i will get it buffed completely and a few coats of clear on it and hopefully itll be good enough to fit the car.

Also today the Aerocatches came in, hopefully my new dremel tomorrow so i can fit make the holes for the aerocatches.

Here are some quick shots

Huh how did that happen?

Well maybe a small update then, yesterdayevening a friend of mine came and took the bonnet with him along with some other carbonbits i had laying around (dashplate)
Since the bonnet was a bit damaged he is going to do his magic on the bonnet and its getting a few fresh coats of clear, so it will look shinyshinyshiny.

Wont be back here until next week, also the carbonfiber doorcards will be shipped out to me from the uk tomorrow.
And hopefully the custommade dials will also be send out tomorrow
From both if things will go right ill have pics tomorrow from the manufacturers.

Ordered some rollcage padding already.

Pics soon Wink

Happy days.

Who is doing your dials? Sorry if I missed it in your thread. I've always wanted Metal Monkey dials but can't afford them!

Black on black is sweeet BUT you'll have to keep the tyres clean and black constantly otherwise it will look like poverty. I'm curious, and of course you don't have to answer, but what do you do for a living?

Hahaha LMAO Milkman,
If you ever are in Holland give me a shout and ill let you have a go in it mate Wink

Its going to be mental thats for sure.

No updates yet, its to cold in the barn and cant be really bothered to work on it really now since im having some back problems and the cold isnt helping out much.

Hopefully my mates comes saturday again and we can do some more things, this week should see the carbon doorcards arriving from LWS design (great people to deal with, great communication and good price!)
Cage will be here on the 3rd of februar.
My paintshopguy fell with this shitty weather and hurt his knie so he isnt spraying (at least not @ workWink) so the CF hood is also delayed.

So hopefully this week some new pics! from some shiny bits

cf bonnet is incredibly light , and easily pressed when you lean on it..

I think the standard bonnet weighs around 18-20 kilo
mine is around 4 i think, very light!
