Curt's BMW 330d

Well here it is, a select few already know about this one.

I've been looking to get one for months, the original plan being save and wait for the ideal car to come up (black Touring). But this one came up cheap and around the corner, so I had a look and put the deposit down.

Picked it up Sunday, gave it a quick wash:

Interior needs a scrub but I've already bought some leather cleaner and conditioner. It's really comfy though, love it.

It's got all the toys, everything works (bar one window regulator, on the back).

2 small spots of rust, which will be taken care of.

Plans are:

Coilovers/looow
BBS RS/LM's (possibly with lairy centres)
Straight through
Generally make less boring

Cheers Niall, appreciate it. The stuff I got seemed to be doing the trick when I tried it briefly on the front, so I think they'll come up well.

Insurance is less than the Audi and the '6, service costs aren't an issue, it'll be service by me from now on.

I had silver LM's on the Audi for over a year, I want something different. I get bored...

I still have the LM's, I'm now in 2 minds whether to buy the adaptors needed as I planned (£240) and deal with the offset... Or sell them on and start again with the correct fitment.

I'll bring it next time I see you. I used it on my gti seats and it bought them up like new. Also does a good job at hiding any minor damage in the leather!

Ah so you did get it, looking very nice, i have to say next to the 6 ide have to say i actually prefer the BMW. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Very nice. Be careful if you ever go skidding in that esp if it has an LSD, commen to rip the rear subframe away from the chassis like my mates did.
