Well here it is, made a bit of progress so thought I'd bung this up.
So bought it off of Fozz last year, looking like this:
 ![[Image: Photo0630.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/Photo0630.jpg) ![[Image: PB062589.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/PB062589.jpg) ![[Image: PB052581.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/PB052581.jpg)
In need of a little TLC, an MOT and a scrub up.

After having it for sale for a while, decided to get it ready and whack it in for an MOT. So got tyres swapped over to the Ouragans I bought form Matt, plugged a blow in the exhaust and went for it.

I anticipated it'd fail on brakes, so ordered them in advance. It did, but that was it!

Before the MOT it looked like this...:
 ![[Image: IMAG0715.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0715.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0713.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0713.jpg)
This was a common sight before I changed the battery:
 ![[Image: IMAG0716.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0716.jpg)
Then I cracked on with the brakes:
 ![[Image: IMAG0721.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0721.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0722.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0722.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0720.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0720.jpg)
Pads were shot and fell apart as I removed them:
 ![[Image: IMAG0724.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0724.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0725.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0725.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0723.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0723.jpg)
Fronts done.
 ![[Image: IMAG0726.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0726.jpg)
Rears:
 ![[Image: IMAG0727.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0727.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0729.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0729.jpg)
So after that, it sailed through! About 2 weeks ago. Then I got tonsillitis and couldn't do anything.

It passed the MOT with this exhaust fitted (!):
 ![[Image: IMAG0732.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0732.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0733.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0733.jpg) ![[Image: IMAG0730.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/IMAG0730.jpg)
So fitted the Peco jobby above from Garlicbread.

This is how it stands:
 ![[Image: P51042802.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/P51042802.jpg) ![[Image: P51042792.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/P51042792.jpg) ![[Image: P51042872.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/P51042872.jpg) ![[Image: P5104252.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/P5104252.jpg) ![[Image: P5104283.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/P5104283.jpg)
Oh and while I was ill I bought myself (and the '6) a present to cheer myself up:
 ![[Image: P5104291.jpg]](http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr352/curt_89/P5104291.jpg)
Oh yeah.

Plans if I keep it are;

Lows
Gunmetal the 'gans
Possible straight through centre section
Resonator bung

Other than that, it's nice and OEM and I like that. It's a really tidy car and goes really well.

Cheers for looking

Therefore I am indifferent...

but seriously, amazing job buddy Enjoy it! They're cracking cars, and I bet you fall in love with how it drives before long
And I can't believe you've got an omp corsica wheel. I am WEL JEL. Even though right now the only thing I could do with one is sit in my chair at work making engine noises... lol

I'm sorry Ed! I wasn't going to put it up, as I wanted to surprise you when you and Foob could come round in the '6's... Then saw your thread and it's so gutting... . As I said in my texts, we'll get it sorted bud
If it makes you feel any better, the wheel isn't a real one! (The badge is)

Cheers Matt, haha sticking with that one . I would love to, we shall see!

Mate don't worry at all, I'm really happy for you that you've got it out, sorted & MOTd! Everyone said how much of a mint example it was, it was a shame you weren't giving it the abuse it clearly needed
Fingers crossed I wont be out of a '6 for too long!
Thanks for texting too buddy, meant a lot
I'll have to come over for a peek at it in the flesh when I get a chance
You gonna be taking this to FCS then? If so I fully expect limiter action when you overtake Scott's dis-astor on the way up

Ed - Haha this is true, and it's already had plenty of well deserved abuse! . Hope not matey, and of course . Definitely, and I'm not sure about FCS as money is the issue...

Max - Going into Peter Cooper? If so yeah that was me... Cheers dude
Lewis - I like the wheel, I'm not that tall to take maximum advantage from it, just short of 6' I think... But I like it, still enough arm room on the motorway, and yeah it makes it feel like ace car . Stalks doesn't bother me TBH

Cheers for the comments everyone

Well this has had a fair few changes since I last posted... I'll try and do it in order.
First of all got a full stainless system and decat, which was a bargain and fitted perfectly.

Then I lowered it with the help of Matt and a large hammer.

Also bought some new wheels at the same time, so some nice shiny Team Dynamic Pro Race 3's were in my possession.

It then sat like this:

Then got some yellow tint film and did my fogs:

Then I got a TRS tow strap in silver, no pictures though.

Picture from Matt's "fix my Rallye" day:

Then I got bored of catching my centre box on everything in Sussex and most of Surrey, so cut it out:

Hmm, grazed.

But this is now in Vaughan's ownership and I have a Mongoose system from Scott. Sounds awesome, no pictures though. Need to do some fettling for it to sit where I'm happy with.

Stuck some badges on finally the other day:

One down, 2 to go .

Also somewhere in the middle I changed the clutch cable. Also my power steering pump decided to piss everywhere a few weekends ago, so I stole Ed's off his broken Diablo and me and Matt boshed it on.

Next on the agenda is gearbox, clutch and bushes change. Hopefully going to Peugeot tomorrow for prices, and then the motor factor if it's stoopid.

Anyone remember the number for the bushes in the gearbox that make the clutch heavy? Can't remember but may as well change them. Preferably before my left leg falls off. Or gets really hench.

Thanks for reading.

Can't remember the numbers for the two bushes but there about 2.00 each. Looking good mate. Clutch from Peugeot is only about £130 on an exchange basis for your old one. Was shocked when I saw that price!

Cheers Niall, just been to Peugeot and picked up my stuff. Got a full on re-build kit and it was all in stock. Also, now is a good time if anyone needs a clutch, they're doing a deal and it was £66 instead of £121 . Although with everything else and the £10 surcharge it came to £182...

That's also for my driveshaft bearing which is what I suspect is causing my funny noise.
