Anyone going tonight fitted a replacement throttle cable to a '6 before? Mine's looking pretty hanging and im worried I wont make it back from Ace, so was planning on getting one and fitting it there....! Any help (constructive help, not the 'rapey' type Connor!) would be much appreciated!!

Im sure it would be easier than a clutch cable, ill make sure I've some string in the boot to pull the new one through with

Im offended... Ill have a go if you want, I've fitted cables before, maybe not on a '6 but how hard can it be?

You wont need string if you're replacing just the inner cable. its a 2min job.

Pliers, pliers, snips. Is about all you need.

Well THAT was a funny night Tongue

Had to fookin tank it home, and I'm still shattered this morning, but a nice way to enjoy the last of the nice weather. Friggin rain Sad

And yes, before anyone starts, the throttle cable was fine all the way home. I managed to offend many many people, and got a massive pop as I lifted going past some road-workers. They shat their respective pants. DAAAAAAAaats right.
