		Did look good at Pugfest guessing your running 21mm bars or some upgraded bars of some sort to lift the rear wheel? Sure ive only seen it on certain Gti6s

Standard gti6 torsion bars but I have a hybrid rear anti roll bar with 28.5mm and 25mm ends rather than the standard 24mm. I prefer this setup to having 21mm torsion bars like I have on the dturbo daily

		More fannying around not fitting throttle bodies today :p
Changed the front springs again (third set this year) for eibach Pro 30s as the gmax 40s sat a couple of mm too low. So much better now, rides alot smoother and firmer, not crashing over bumps anymore either.

Now that the chassis is sorted i might finally get around to getting the jenveys fitted....  Maybe :p

		Bollox will you.You'll just take off another bit, paint it and put it back on again.

 Just take inspiration from a certain Mr Rowel.
 Did his in a weekend with Toms and Bates for help, how hard can it be?

		I've done more procrastinating from fitting throttle bodies :p
 New brakes on the way, 6 pots this time which is huge overkill but they came up at a good price plus even with the extra pistons they're still thinner than the 406 brembos therefore giving me the choice of wheels fitment I was after

		Small road trip tonight to get some parts for the next batch of upgrades ;
305mm bells and rotors with 6 pot calipers and ebc yellow stuff pads

Adjustable droplinks with mot friendly rubber boots

Ultra lightweight flywheel (I'll do a weight comparison when I change them over)

Some brand new blackmasked lights (annoyingly I melted the lens of one of the current ones with some thinners
)

An intact battery and ecu tray with all the clips still in one piece

And some Peugeot sport numberplate surrounds as I've always fancied having them to fill the gap in the numberplate recess a bit better

Oh and this is how the car sits now everything's bedded in :

They're pug1off branded but all the part numbers for the caliper come up as AP for Aston Martin vanquish, so look they're just an ap caliper with a Peugeot hub adapter and a different face plate

		New brakes fitted tonight while I was waiting for the Mrs.
305mm rotors
Ebc yellow stuff pads
6 pot caliper

Perfect fit inside a 16" rim, and the best bit is that I've gone from having a cigarette paper of clearance between caliper and wheel to over 15mm compared with the previous 406 brembos!
Not had much of a drive yet as it was horrible weather but first impressions are a very good improvement over the old setup and that wasn't exactly a bad one!

Also fitted some Peugeot numberplate surrounds as I've always thought about getting some to fill out the 306 plate recesses a bit better

I guess you could buy the calipers but I highly doubt they'd be cheaper than buying them through p1o, Aston owners hardly worry about the money a pair of calipers cost I guess.
Plus then there's the hassle of having adapter brackets made, buying disc bells, brake hoses, pads, rotors....

Pretty quickly it'll come up to way more than p1o prices I'd guess

Here's the 90 degree elbow you need, easy enough to make if you're handy with a brake flaring tool and they do fit under 15" wheels even with the 288mm xantia discs, the biggest issue is space between the caliper face and the back of the rim as these calipers are extremely chunky!

My new 6 pot setup has gained me about 15mm from where there was only a cigarette paper of clearance before

That is actually pretty good, problem is that I don´t know who to make it really. But nice work you did there. My problem is, here in Portugal they want 350/450€ for a pair of these which is ALOT. I'm upgrading now to a 283mm from a 307 probably

Thank you for the pic mate, appreciated !

		Picked up a bargain set of vibratechnics engine mounts the other day, I already have the bbm group n set but these where too cheap to turn away
Also collected a new scorpion exhaust so that Matt can have his one back haha, my latest one is different from any other gti6 scorpion system I've seen in that it has a proper mid box rather than the slight bulge all the others I've seen have, would that make this an old or newer style system?
