Pic of the new boot badge courtesy of Gareth, cheers buddy :-)
The cherry Red scheme will continue under the bonnet next but probably not until after fcs as I wouldn't get anything back from the powdercoaters on time

Hopefully something to get done by pugfest

Halfway through the first week of driving and now that everything's bedded in a bit, decided to open her up a bit on the way to work this morning, absolute dream to throw around a corner, totally in love haha.

One thing I have noticed however is its occasionally hard to get into gear when coming off full throttle, dreading that it's a cracked top engine mount cup.

Although come to think of it the bottom mount has probably seen better days so I might try replacing that first since I already have a bbm solid rubber one somewhere.

Any pointers on replacing the bottom engine mount in situ?

Got a Baker bm mount to replace it so hopefully it'll slide in ok. Best way to remove the standard one without taking the bracket off the car?

Cheers man, I was going to put the rallye aux bracket on and replace the the bottom engine steady but don't want to be messing with the engine this close to fcs haha.

All things to do ready for pugfest I reckon :-)

Was in the mood for tinkering tonight so braved the rain and took it down to the workshop.

Replaced the boot badge:
in two minds about the chrome Peugeot letters, what do you think would be better? As it is or just leave the gti6 badge

Ordered some powerflex exhaust hangars that will hopefully centralise the back box again as some of you eagle eyed readers might have noticed :-P hopefully arrive before Saturday

Oh and replaced the roof console as the original was cracked and barely holding together
Cheers for that btw Danny :-)

Dont put a oem lower mount in situe! Thats what ive been f*cking about with all day, its in 3/4 of the way and got stuck! Best way to get it out is cut the rubber (use heat gun and good knife) then use hack saw to cut the metal the prise it open.

Im hopefully picking powerflex up tomorrow and cutting the mount out again.

Yeah I've been eyeing up a powerful bush, the direct fit nature appeals to me haha. Really can't be dealing with having to take the shafts out etc to press in the BBM one

Cracking weekend at fcs as usual and a pretty good running in session for the gti6 :-P
Front row stand position
Pulled over after an epic drive home for a picture with matts rallye
 ![[Image: IMG_709752481810_zpsctnjpfme.jpeg]](http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/s649/ozonehostile/IMG_709752481810_zpsctnjpfme.jpeg)
Couldn't resist fitting some new shinies on Sunday so on went some Baker bm gear linkages, highly recommend these, changing gear feels like loading a rifle now :-D
Also noticed the exhaust keeps moving so rectified the problem with some poly exhaust hangars, absolute bitch to fit but exhaust movement has been massively reduced :-)
