anyone no how i remove the plastic strip that runs along the middle of the door without breaking the clips?

One tab doesn't slide. It's at one end, pop that one off and the rest should just slide back, as said.

IIRC anyway. I just use a BFO screwdriver

great idea!!! dont put it back on!!! ... smoothen it out! Its just my personal preferances!

I just finished doing both doors of a 205 gti and stripped the plastics! ...shed the weight Wink
