right ive heard alot of rumors and possibly uneducated stories of people saying that saxo/106 springs will fit 306 shocks and 206 struts will fit 306 hubs ?? just wondered what combinations people have tried and what have worked ?

my advice would be dont, i believe saxo springs do fit and im sure 206 struts probably fit loking at them, but they're both lighter cars then the 306 so the damping rates and spring rates will be completely wrong

People fit Saxo springs to slam their cars. They will also ruin the handling completely.

no im on standard suspension atm but want a 40mm drop, but being poor ive only got about £100-£150 to spend and yet i want decent stuff :L i could just buy some decent new springs but really want to try and get a full set up of decent shocks too

if you want a better than standard setup and not so fussed about drop, then maybe a set of gti6 shocks / springs would be a decent cheap upgrade

I've heard the 206 coilovers fit, they might be a better option than struts which are a bit more weight specific

The guy I got my estate off put 106 60mm springs on the car and it's shit. Drives like crap and was even worse with the leaking dampers that were on it, bounced all over the place!
