So guy need a bit of advice, soon as I got the 205 I sorned it the same day as I no it wasn't going to be going on the road any time soon. Any way I filled the form in with my details, but after speaking to ginge he hasn't sent the log book off and I've got to apply for it for my self as he hasn't got the time to post it, (because I need it in a rush)
So what I wanna no is am I still gonna get my tax refund to me? Or is it going to go some were else (ginges house) ??

I will be sorting log book out tomorrow as need it asap (to possibly scrap the car)

 Advice any way guys??

 Thanks in advance

If you sent the form off with the tax disk on with your details they send you a letter telling you your not entitled to a refund so don't worry he won't get a penny run them and explain what a twat the previous owner is and they should be able to sort something

Any paper work will go to whoever the dvla think the car belongs to.

It's free if you have the green slip, well so I believe it is any way, and I believe he is very busy with moving or something but not 100% sure tbh, I won't comment on that as will probably have him on my back saying I'm slateing him and giving him no respect.

Short answer rust, to be fair it could be worse and I've seen worse but when it's there I think I'm for ever gonna be chasing it, all so the amount of money it ows me already (not taking in to the consideration of the engine build in the shed ) I'm gonna lose what ever route I take with it, could have bought a 205 and done the conversion my self cheaper.

Well if it's "rust free" I strongly advise you do NOT ever drop the fuel tank.
V5 is a pain anyway. totally useless cos it doesn't prove ownership.

Lets try and keep it civil. Calling people names (especially when they are on the forum) can look bad towards new and existing members. If there is a problem, keep it to yourself or discuss via pm

		Just an update.
Rang dvla basically the application for the tax refund will be rejected, what is fine. As for the log book she informed me its an offence to not notify dvla that the keeper has changed hands, there are fines etc involved not sure if they are that strict on it tho. They are sending me the forms to apply for log book and tax again, so hopefully will be sorted
Thanks for the advice/help guys

Will take 6 weeks for them to process it, because it's not been sent of by the previous owner, so looks like I'm in for a long wait anyway. Nothing I can do really just enjoy the wait, probably just give in and fix it up seen as I'm gonna be waiting so long.

Oh sorry read it wrong, yer I no what your saying, but ginge says he is to busy to post it so nothing I can do about that. All tho it's been nearly a month since I've had the car. So would have thought it would have already been sent.

How can you be too busy to post something!?
The address is 3 lines and there are post boxes everywhere. If it's been lost then fair enough, but lack of time isn't a valid excuse for all the hassle it's causing you.

Yer I no, but nothing I can do about it tho. I've tried my best to be nice about the whole situation. I'm not the only person who has had issues with ginge not posting things, as I have been told but obviously I carnt comment on that so will keep out of it.

All I'm asking for is the logbook to the car what is legally mine, if he wants to be an arse about it all then so be it, I will just sort it out my self, not end of world and certainly not worth the time or effort aqueing about it.

You might have an issue with Ginge over the whole situation and tbh i don't blame you but don't tar the entire forum with the same brush. Its just childish really.
That thing on FB yesterday was just laughable. Mind you, i don't know why i expected anything different after seeing the people that were posting in it!

Sorry but I haven't put anything in fb, and I won't as I don't have many people off here on there as I've never met most of you.

I'm not taring the whole form with the same brush at all so not sure we're that is from. I get on with every one on this form, and am even happy to forget about all the crap with ginge as I said no point aqueing about it, it's not end of world. Life goes on.

Let's keep this civil guys not turning it in to a big argument, I can sort log book out my self that's not an issue.

So let's leave it at that please didn't start this thread to cause an aquement or divide the form. Lets forget about it. Onwards and upwards as they say.
