left foot braking even during a corner is useful, esp if you have a LSD. but even without, you be amazed the control it gives.
good point about combe though...not many places warrant it

Meh, personally I thought by far the quickest way round most of the corners at Combe was to trail brake into them, then nail it at the apex and ride it out on the Lsd, it was hideously effective once I'd nailed that 2nd chicane, though my driving was far from good during my one track outing... I struggle to see how any mid corner braking would improve the above method tbh...

		^^^^this is still true.
but to aid traction and control in the corner using brake and throttle like foot paddles in a plane, in simple terms, you have a almost rudder like control

Oh yeh minor adjustments can be made mid corner! But at the end of the day if your braking points are right, then the nose will be pushed into the ground at the point of turn in anyway, then you feed in the power

that is true, in simplistic terms.
a corner like quarry for instance at CC...if you did all your braking just before turn in point, then turned in and starting to feed in the power before apex, you wouldnt make the apex or exit!!

Quoted Jackie Stewart from topgear when he made captain slow drive a tvr around a track and then shave time off his original laptime
