		I had a similar issue with the DVLA for an engine change. But I was lucky to have a small metal tab just up from the starter, towards the diesel pump (in behind the injector lines) stating the number. Do you have one? Can't quite see from your pictures.

		Got it cleaned up today, can pretty much see it although still a little faint.

		It should be on both, sometimes the plate is on the end of the belt cover. some don't have the plate
