		Cut the retaining/locking rings off the coils and replace them? There must be a way to get them moving.

		Use a wire brush best you can to clean the threads above and below the locking rings so that they have a good thread to wind onto. Spray them with wd40 or similar for couple days to help a little bit. Make sure your c spanner fits well and if that slips off then try stilsons.

		Only had to cut them off on a set of weitecs with plastic rings :/ if they're metal you should fine!

		Or just hammer 90 degress to the flats on the rings and it should break them loose, then use the C spanner. O and then copper grease the threads to avoid it happening again!

		That car looks well.
Anyway scrub the threads with a wire brush, and spray a bit of degreaser around the collars aswell, spray on a bit of diesel/oil aswell after scrubbing,  use a good spanner or if there real tight use a square drift on the collars, screw them down the way first, also hit the collars a few times usually helps.
