		Does anyone have any tips on removing locking wheel nuts without the key I have the good old socket and hammer but not enough room between rim and nut any suggestions woul be great

		Do you no the make of them? Might be worth trying to find the replacement socket otherwise it will be a pig of a job

		if its the ones with splines on the side, try smash a 19mm socket (or whatever is just to small) onto it

		Them gator grip things are fecking useless, my bud who runs a tyre place, got a set first time he used it all the splines bent and fell out got a replacement that lasted 3 uses so just got his money back. Best bet is get something welded to it

		Thans for the advice recently bought a stick welder never gived it a thought just hope the weld will hold it enough to crack the nuts off  My local garage will do them for 25quid a wheel f*ck that :o

		Im with jonny, those sockets are complete wank on anything done up more than finger tight, try welding something on the end, will be your best bet
