Went out to my car earlier to clean the floor mats. Took the passenger one out and thought this feels heavy! looked in the footwell and there was a massive bloody puddle. Thought it was smelling a bit damp in there!
Anyway, worked out what caused it and ive sorted that so shouldnt happen again but whats the best way to dry it out? Dont want to lift the carpet but also dont want it sitting damp for ages as it will probably start to rot all the foam underneath.

		Hahahha too true.
And it won't take that long. You know if you had the floor fans on hot and then drive to mine, fix mine drive home and it would easily be dry

i took the nsf carpet out by cutting it under the centre console where you cant see it !!! un-bolted the 2 front seat bolts and pulled it out, then hung the carpet up in work in the boiler room -----it was there for 3 days as it was properly soaked.....what makes it worse is that while the carpet was out, we had loads of rain and not a single drop made its way in ???
all back together since last weekend, so i will lift the carpet over this weekend to see its still dry.

Silicone cat litter will help.
Just do not buy the regular one, because it gets the mud.
Only silicon one`s.

As said above, silicone cat litter. Worked in the beigemobile, and if you cut a couple of little holes on the outside edge of the door seal it'll stop it happening again. In an inspired piece of French design, the drain holes point inward...
