Lol, I was greeted on the other site with quite nice reception and realised now that is because most of those I argued with are on here instead.
If you didn't know, I sold my Dturbo for a Saxo VTS. Which was then replaced with an E46 330ci.

Sold that which looked like this,
 ![[Image: 5797092529_685d681182_b.jpg]](http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2626/5797092529_685d681182_b.jpg) ![[Image: 5797652108_b048fc5279_b.jpg]](http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5302/5797652108_b048fc5279_b.jpg)
It sold like this,
 ![[Image: 6177911042_df05e9fc4a_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6160/6177911042_df05e9fc4a_b.jpg)
Replaced with this beauty,
 ![[Image: 6071317742_ebe903e5f3_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6066/6071317742_ebe903e5f3_b.jpg)
1984 BMW 635CSi, in Red (obviously) with a manual gearbox, with 177,000 and a full restoration including interior retrim, glass out respray, engine rebuild and so on.

All I did was fit some 20mm spacers on the front and some 28mm spacers on the rear giving a nice overall setup of 18x8 ET2 and 18x9 ET-6. Gave it a good wash, polish and wax and grabbed some snaps.
 ![[Image: 6089330287_c4e914c46c_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6077/6089330287_c4e914c46c_b.jpg) ![[Image: 6089869712_ae40e71915_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6191/6089869712_ae40e71915_b.jpg) ![[Image: 6089306227_9b29798940_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6186/6089306227_9b29798940_b.jpg) ![[Image: 6089299699_d738a07384_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6071/6089299699_d738a07384_b.jpg) ![[Image: 6089828664_e2c3ec7b6d_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6189/6089828664_e2c3ec7b6d_b.jpg) ![[Image: 6097828460_a15b3a8f5c_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6078/6097828460_a15b3a8f5c_b.jpg) ![[Image: 6097854398_93b410822b_b.jpg]](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6131/6097854398_93b410822b_b.jpg)
As you can see, immaculate in every possible way. I had plans of fitting some OZ Mitos (17x10/11) and air ride.

Unfortunately, on the 10th December this happened at some traffic lights. Rear ended by a lovely Hyundai Accent with a female driver.

Which wrote the car off. I didn't want that to happen to a replacement so found a cheap £600 HDi to run about in.

		Now the HDI,
Peugeot 306 2.0 HDI Meridian
Later 2001 (falls into the new tax banding, £130 not £215 a year)
China Blue
138,000
MOT Oct, Tax May
No history
Scratched, faded and dented all round
15" Laser alloys with half decent tyres

It runs great, looks crappy and is f*cking cheap.

Got some shit pictures of the car, including my awesome new keyring.

Plans are to remap it on the cheap, probably fit a spoiler, service it, fit a new throttle cable as the accelerator is so heavy. Sort out the remote locking. Maybe buy some wind deflectors then run it into the ground. Maybe chop a coil or two and play with the T-bar depending how seized it is and look at welding up my old Artec AD Cups.

All my other resources will be spent sourcing and finishing the next E24 where I left this one. Tons more pictures of everything on Flickr if you want to take a look.

I look forward to your new BMW already. Ive been looking at buying an old (E28/E30) 3 series myself recently. Lovely looking cars and I bet they drive nicely, too.

Yeah, I have £4000 to find a replacement now, that is after buying and insuring a HDI, buying my car back etc too
Got £6500 back from the insurance when I paid £3200 so can't complain. Now to sell my Style 32s, my Style 19s and a few other bits then order the 5inch rear lips for the OZ Mitos sat in my garage then rebuild those to 17x10 ET5ish and 17x11 ET-8. Cannot wait.

Thanks, as the HDI boys seem to have moved over to here.
When looking for other maps, what is the number on the ECU I need? The thread off 306.net has disappeared along with the diesel section by the looks of it!

Hey mate, good to see you on here! I was gutted for you when I saw the 635 (and I also noticed you know someone I know called Indy, he has a Mk3 golf VR6 with jetta front end conversion I believe). I'm glad to hear you're on the lookout for another, hopefully you'll get another minter.

Yea it is, but I've never seen a 502.
Does it have a single, or triple plug ecu?

You're right though, it is 592.
It was just me trying to read the badly taken mobile picture wrong.
