hi all,
will be going to collect a niall blue gti6 on saturday and will be breaking for parts, things gone are front and rear bumper, boot lid , drivers door , bonnet , half leathers and brake callipers.
If side strips got removed complete (and one didn't get taken with the drivers door) then I'd be interested in those, plus the spoiler and petrol caps please.
Full phase 3 nile blue cars are very rare, shame to see one broken, especially one that looks so tidy.

Thanks mate. Probably for the best anyway, no doubt I'd have bought it, decided it looked shit and realised I'd wasted money when I should be fixing a head gasket
still in two minds to be honest mate, if I do sell it will be sold in better shape than it is now , I kinda change my mind once or twice a day hence not deleting thread but every time i see parts for it i keep buying recently , and for the Gti that thing should be around and about soon
The engine and running gear is staying with the car to be weighed in I'm afraid which is a shame because rear beam ,gearbox,engine, and other miscellaneous bits are going to go to waste really. I will try and get a price for the sump and let you know chris.

I know I have tried explaining this to him and I also tried buying the whole car from him but he is just not interested in selling it,
That is for both door strips and rear quarter strips? don't know of any others?
And paypal to me but I would wait until I collect the parts (which should be saturday) until payment as if anything went wrong from here to then it would be a pain. I will let you know as soon as i know anymore or I get the bits buddy.

As long as you don't mind waiting for payment that's fine for me
There are the two rear quarter, drivers doors, and then the two from the wing. I just meant in case the drivers door included that strip meaning it wouldn't be available, that's all
Scott-oh yeah i forgot the two on the wings but yes all of them mate, yeah i don't mind waiting for payment either....
turns out i may have just bought the car as a whole so I'm open to offers on all apart from the above and the head lights and inlet manifold.
Chris- open to an offer on the sump..I would like to not break the engine for parts but if I get enough interest then I'm happy to(probably would anyway tbh)
He's bought the whole car now scott and wer just going to drop the dt lump straght in the 6 rather than fecking about swapping all the other parts around so i dont thinl nothing will be avalible off this one now. Not sure what he's going to do with the Dt's rolling shell though
