Nah from what I read, they can either be white or yellow, but other colours (ie blue) are illegal.
I add on that yellow light is easier for the eye to pick up at night, and I've put brighter bulbs in to make sure I can still see clearly.
Ill say this, I've driven past hundreds of police, and none of them ever even look twice. And I always drive with my lights on, so its not like they just dont see...

tbh, the steels are the bit i like the least, they're too small and too narrow, and also baaadly painted. need banded 15'' ones and a ton more lows.
