In urgent need of a set of beam mounts as one of my solid mounts is broken.
Prefer solid, will take standard if they are in good condition.
Thanks

One of the studs on a front mount has broken and fallen inside. May just buy some new bakerbm's instead.

Ricky which one is it? I'm going to Baker tomorrow morning so might be able to ask how much a single unit would be for you.

They aren't baker ones that I have, they look like custom made ones, from the '6 forum.

Well it's either me or daveyboy?
The studs are only pressed in place by pug, I weld them in, so they don't move.

I don't know I bought them second hand over a year ago on the 6 forum. Will get a picture to show what's happened, the other one is loose aswell so that will probably break soon aswell.

Would it break something if I used two standard mounts for the front and two solid ones on the back? I think I have a couple spare thinking about it. It would only be temp anyway.

Nah man, it will be fine, I did the same when I accidentally made two right hand side front mounts lol
I can imagine what's happend though, the studs have come loose.
But the only way to rectify it, is to chop the lid off and weld them in, or buy a pair of new ones I'm afraid.

Yeah thought they would need chopping, will probably just buy some new ones anyway, maybe even standard ones for now.

Even with them being pressed in they shouldn't snap unless they were loose anyway, the nut clamps them up inside.

It all depends on work. But I know I will be busy untill wed. So might be able to do some on Thursday/Friday.
I don't think it has snapped off phill, just the stud has come out.
He won't be able to pull it out because it's got a flat head on it, similar thing to a pop rivet if you like.
I've found a few loose ones when making solid ones, so I always weld the studs in.
