silly gti won't idle

Got home to find between me switching off the engine and starting it 5 minutes later its decided it doesn't want to idle and just stalls whenever its started with no throttle

any easy to check reasons for this ?

Icv. Either take off clean up and refit. Or take the battery off for 20mins and do an ecu reset.

Just been out and now its decided to start and run fine will clean the icv tomorow as i know its a bit rough

Makes sure its all sealed properly and you should be fine. They can be really temperamental

Will check it all over then also sounds like there's a ticking that sounds like its coming from cambelt sort of area but there's no pattern to the sound will try and get a video later

May be something caught up in there? Or one of the pulleys/tensioners making a tick
