		Hi all
got a ph3 estate, the hdi lump has done 175k, overdue a service/cambelt and now the clutch is slipping.
I have been offered a cheap xud running a bosch, new cambelt, new clutch and bolted to a hdi gearbox, how easy will this be to fit?
cheers all

		I did it, easy swap.
If you look far enough back through my threads you'll see my project thread which might have details.

Easy swap. Specially if you have the xud loom.

The most difficult bit is probably getting the dvla to change the v5 to the correct details lol.

I'm thinking of doing this myself.
Regards to fuel lines, I know you have to swap the pump to the dturbo pickup. Do the fuel lines fit the same?
Why do you suggest phase 2 clocks?
I was thinking of getting the level sender working.
One last thing... Central Locking, will this be affected?

Swap the in tank to dt pickup, fuel lines will fit fine.
Ph2 clocks are the only ones that straight away plug & play, you can leave ph3 in but your revs won't work.
Locking is fine.
You just plug the DT loom in on the passenger inner wing and all is well.

Nice on. Just had a read through jimbos thread and read it about the clocks.
More straight forward than I thought
