Anyone Know a hosting Site for Videos

I'm on the lookout for a hosting site which will permit video uploads larger than the 500mb limit of photobucket....

Any ideas anyone?

^^ Yeah you could host it here buddy that's no problem.

Just remember that it will be a full on link to the video so if people want to stream it, it will eat up their bandwidth (not ours, ours is win), so won't be accessible on a mobile device.

Youtube and vimeo are two others, and I know with Youtube you can have a video remain unlisted so only people with the link will be able to view it (since I know what you're bound to be uploading )

but yes, youtube allows private linkage. Youtube should let you upload more than 500mb of video. If not, vimeo should let you, they are HD-only iirc

Depends how your going to edit it, if you dont actually want to change anything but just want to compress/re-encode it, there are loads of tools out there to do it.

Unless you had/know how to use a linux box you could do it with ffmpeg .... but you dont

Ed, just upload the whole thing. It'd take longer to convert it and/or trim it, then to upload it, than it would just to upload it
