Couldn't really compare it toward an omp but it certainly compliments a lower brace. I could certainly feel a difference even with dodgy p bushes at the time. The fact that its ties the bulk head in gives it rigidity some will say its in effective as its not a straight bar linking the struts. But if this was possible it would have been done. It's certainly better tiring to the bulk head rather than bending it into thin air

How does it tie to the bulk head? From what i can see in the pic, you have tapped a hole and used a self tapper?
Just trying to look at it wondering if it will fit a GTi....

Just a flat head bolt and nut with a small hole into the bulk lip where the bonnet seal is but couldn't be sure about it fitting a 6

Unless you do a little fettling and drop the ECU box a little lower where it mounts to the tray...
