hi guys i just lowered my 306 estate 55mm at the front and lowered the rear but i had to raise the rear up 40mm as it sat far too low but with it raised 40mm its still the same ride height i have shortened dampers on the rear and had to jack the arm up a good bit to get the bolt into the shock could the shortened dampers be the problem
also do i have to cut the bump stops on the front with shortened shocks

gotta be the shocks if you raised it back to OE height and it hasnt moved??
as for the bump stop on the front you only need to cut then down if you keep bottoming them out.

hi thanks for the replys i was thinking it was dampers so am going to buy original dampers and see from there
i lowered the rear beam by taking the torsion bars out and adjusting the arm/hub to the height i wanted i didnt do the notch method

just drop the dampers off and see if it resets itself...like a 5min job...two bolts...done.
if the beam stays where it is...cant be the dampers!
