I have a d-turbo hdi, its started hissing from the brake pedal when releasing brakes, sometimes it will hiss even when im not touching it. Defi sounds like inside the car, brakes feel fine, nice and sharp. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I did think this, although it doesn't show any symptoms of the usual servo failure, a leak of this scale would almost certainly give a solid pedal. It sounds like i have air brakes off an arctic lol

My old 306 had this problem and then it became permanent! Think the only was is a new servo which would probably mean dash out to get to the bolts.
In terms of braking you may notice that if you start braking, let off the brake, and quickly apply them you lose all assistance for a moment which is scary!
