bigger pat on back for buying a 306

Haha thats a bit harsh, them engines are bulletproof, and to be pushin 150-160 brake for less than £400 is nice power for money value!

That includes decat injectors egr blank kn panel filter and remap, could even squeeze in a backbox there if you wanted one!

I can safely say I miss it and driving my friends makes me miss it even more, handled like a dream too in standard form!

should have bought a DT if you like cheap tuning, they go from 90bhp to 120-135 with a simple nut and bolt turning tune
if your handy with some tools then you can pick up a TD04 for £50
Fmic kit for around £100
thast will see you to 170bhp
the rest to spend on an exhaust and other bits

In fairness I had looked at them, but insurance was a pain as well as finding a clean one.

Worked on a mates ph2 and was never done hoking around it, thr engines are bombproof but the running gear isnt the best, a rot free non hdi id hard to get, fellas here are looking big money for them

Drove the car on the road for the first tonight since noticing the problem, it ticks like mad and then disappears after 3krpm, is it worth putting newer (076) injectors in before getting it remapped?

Nah all HDis have noisey injectors. Just do what I did and get a straight through exhaust, that covers up the injector noise

Wonder would I get it cheaper in mild steel? I may well ask around first as mandrel bent 2.5 inch would be nice!

Cheers bud, yeah I might go to an exhaust place and quote, I only plan on running stage 1 so doesnt need to be major, would prefer to be able to revert back to standard though so against hacking the standard system, seems a waste too with the small diameter bends
