So going through and testing the electrics on the project car.
We have a brand new battery in the boot all wired up and grounded.
Head lights work, main and full, internal light works.
But we don't have any indicators or hazards. Rear lights we think are working as I am missing loads of bulbs and rear plate lights aren't plugged in yet.
We have the water bottle motor working but wipers aren't. Have looked though the fuses all seem fine bar fuse 11. We changed it but it sparks when you try to put a new one in.
Any ideas guys????
Also any one know what colour the flasher reply is?

If its sparking when it goes in theres too many amps going through that wire, or a bad earth?

We might be missing the hazard rely. That's why I asking what colour it was. We are sure it's the black one which would explain the hazards.
We have looked at fuse 11 in the 306 Haynes book and it's saying it's not in use, so was wondering what it was used for.

Its either black or grey depending on the age. Also, the hazard switch has to be plugged in otherwise the whole lot won't work

Yea we are missing a black and grey so we think that is the hazard issue. Just none lying around to use here.
We are still thinking of the 11 fuse and it sparking.
