Thanks for the reply ... yes I'm pretty sure the buffer rubbers are touching the chassis inside the little recess that they sit in. I'll perhaps get a new top mount then and see if that cures the prob...

I thought the mounting point was completely different for the front seats? On the 3 door car the outer edge of the seat subframe bolts sideways in to the sill, whereas on the 5 door they go down throu...

Yes I agree that replacing the mounts is a good plan, I think I used Lemforder ones from euro car parts, they're of the order of £100, its worth ordering them online as there is usually a discount cod...

Yeah it makes sense that with a remap it might be a bit picky. What / whose remap do you have just out of interest?

That makes sense that it only does it when warm. Sounds like a good idea to try the iridium plugs again.

Ah, what spark plugs did you use? If you used ones with too hot a grade this can lead to pinking. [hr] Try putting the old plugs back in maybe and see if it goes away?

Ok, thanks for the advice I saw that maniflow do them for around £400, just thinking of options for the future. Good news that it'll fit though.
